I AM DONE BUT WENT OUT WITH A "FLASH"

This afternoon was the Lee High School graduation and it was my last assignment with the band. It was long because there were 571 graduates in the class. There was one very funny moment however, as the graduates were coming in to the arena and the band was playing "Pomp and Circumstance" Mr. Storie was having problems with something and we could not figure out what it was then suddenly his pants hit his ankles. We all kinda stood there frozen for a few seconds trying to figure out what to do but the damage had been done. :) Mr. Storie has apparently lost some weight and his pants don't fit anymore. The first two rows of the band had received an eye full of his whitey tighties and everyone in the stands that was paying any attention was now laughing hysterically. This was the highlight of the afternoon because you could not script anything so funny and so unexpected. With all of that said, I am officially done as the Assistant Band Director. I turned in my school keys and I will be spending tomorrow packing some stuff to take home on Monday. I will be leaving early on Monday morning to go back to Mesquite and next week I hope to set up some interviews for a teaching job. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday morning. God Bless!
